1/4 Beethoven's Teenage Piano Quartet.

Beethoven developed into possibly (probably) the greatest composer of all time, but even as a teenager he had some extremely bold compositions, and this one is a great example.  Written in 1785 at the age of 15, this chamber piece for piano and strings is a real showstopper.  Interestingly, it wasn't published until 5 years after Beethoven's death....

Piano Quartet in E flat Major, WoO 36, No. 1, Movement 2 Allegro Con Spirito
Christoph Eschenbach and members of the Amadeus Quartet -- Norbert Brainin, violin; Peter Schidlof, viola; and Martin Lovett, cello

It has everything, crazy broken chords, syncopated accents, dynamic contrasts...and a very tasty 2nd theme melody!

Coda at 4:46
